West Central^® is a full service, farmer owned cooperative with a nationwide and international presence. Currently, West Central is the 16th largest grain company in North America with 3,148 stockholders, and inbound grain of 80.9 million bushels in 2006. The company is a full service agronomy inputs provider, and further processes soybeans into a variety of value added products. These products include SoyPLUS^®, SoyChlor^®, and other livestock nutritional products.

The company’s voyage into value added processing began in the mid-1940’s. Since then, the company has worked to bring added value to our members products through the processing of their grain.

In 1986, West Central began producing SoyPLUS at its Ralston headquarters. Over the years, the cooperative has also begun production of SoyChlor, and delved into the manufacturing of methyl esters.

West Central has earned a solid reputation as the leader in the production of top quality, value-added soy products. We’re committed to carrying on this tradition through continued research and development, experimentation of soy processing for new products, and innovatively tailoring existing products for new uses.
